The Vadakke Nambimadam is located on the western side of the Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple and is very near Mitranandapuram Trimurthy Temple. This ancient double storey building with a gabled roof is the residence of Tantris (the Vedic head priest) and Kizhsanthis (the assistant priest) of the Padmanabha Swamy Temple.
