RTI Act

The Department of Archaeology has initiated steps towards the implementation of the Right to Information Act, 2005. Information related to the Department is available to the public under the Act. Applications can be submitted online through Government of Kerala RTI Portal (https://rtiportal.kerala.gov.in/) or by the offline mode through postal application.

Fees:

Under section 7(1).

For information on A4 size paper: Rs.3 per page.
For information on oversized paper: actual cost thereof.
For obtaining samples and models: Actual price/cost thereof.
For verification of documents: No fee for first one hour. Rs. 10 for every 30 minutes and fraction thereafter

Section 7(5)

Rs. 75 (each) for obtaining information in electronic form such as CD, Floppy etc.
Rs 2 (per page) for information in printed form.
