Ulsavamadam Buildings

Village: Vanchiyoor

Taluk: Thiruvananthapuram

GPS Coordinates: 8° 29’ 01.5” N 76° 56’ 39.3” E

Notification Year: 2003

The Ulsavamadam buildings are two storey edifices with round, high pillars. This structure with colonial influence is located to the north of the SreePadmanabha Swamy Temple. The architecture of the Ulsavamadam building seems to bear some resemblance to that of the Sreepadam Palace, situated very close to it. Some commercial shops and offices are now functioning in these buildings.
