Thirumittakode or Thiruvithuvakode is the malainadu divyadesa, one of the 108 thirupathis of the Vaishnavites. The Thirumittakode Temple is situated on the western banks of the Bharathapuzha River, near Pattambi. The temple is more famous as Anjumurthy temple. The four Vishnu shrines and one Siva shrine at this temple complex have equal importance, hence the name, Anjumurthy. Lord Siva facing the east. Behind him is the temple for Lord Vishnu. Beautiful mural paintings depicting the scenes from the Puranas are seen on the walls of the srikovil. Immaculate sculptures are also added beauty to this temple. On the granite wall, there is an inscription in Vattezhuthu script.
