Sree Mahadeva temple at Thirumarady near Piravam is a shrine with Chatura srikovil (square sanctum sanctorum). A number of wooden sculptures are seen on the griva of the garbhagriha. The temple has a chuttambalam around the garbhagriha and a namaskaramandapam, which faces the east. The roof of the srikovil is covered with a copper sheet. There is a Srikrishna temple in the same compound, which is circular in shape with a square namaskaramandapam. The Devaswom malika on the temple premises is a traditional single-storey building with a store room (Ara).
