Stone Inscriptions at Chendamangalam


Village: Chendamangalam

Taluk: Paravur

GPS Coordinates: 10° 10’ 06.0” N 76° 14’ 50.1” E

Notification Year: 1936

Stone slabs with Vattezhuthu inscriptions were discovered by P. Anujan Achan in 1935. It was preserved in front of the Roman Catholic Church at Chendamangalam. The Holy Cross Church is situated very near the famous Vaippikkotta Seminary. These inscriptions with later Vattezhuthu script are well preserved and very legible even now.
