Sree Kumaramangalam Subrahmanya Swami Temple, Muthavazhi

The Subrahmanya Swami Temple at Muthavazhi, Pandanadu, is situated four kilometres away from Chengannur town. The garbhagriha of this temple was built in Dwithala Vimana style. This sanctum sanctorum, built with a rare variety of red coloured soft stone, is roofed with copper sheets. The granite adhishtana has molded tiers like upana, Jagathi, vrithakumuda, kantha, and pattika. The walls are made of soft red stone with panjara and torana decorations.
