Notification Year: 1944

The Menhir at Ramavarmapuram is standing on the left side of the Viyyur-Thanikudam Road. This Menhir of the Megalithic Age is one of the biggest menhirs discovered in Kerala. Ramavarmapuram Menhir is made of granite, which measures 15 feet in height and 12 feet 4 inches in width. It was declared a protected monument by the Department of Archaeology of the erstwhile state of Kochi in 1944.
