Pilikode Caves are single-chambered rock-cut tombs from the Megalithic Period. The entrance of the caves has a simple frame decoration. There are steps leading down into the chamber. The chambers are in a semi-spherical shape with circular port holes at the centre. In 1992, the Department of Archaeology conducted an excavation at these chambers and unearthed four legged jars, black and red wares and a few iron implements.
