Pazhukka Mandapam is another monument that is closely associated with the Mamankam festival. This small traditional structure with a high platform is situated at the south-east corner of the Navamukunda Temple at Thirunavaya. The outer Prakara wall of the temple is connected to the walls of the structure. On the top of the tall platform, there is a small room with narrow verandas surrounding it. The door and three small windows are made of wood. This balcony like structure has a great view of the Nila.
