Old Sub-Registrar Office Building, Kuttiady

Village: Kuttiady

Taluk: Vatakara

GPS Coordinates: 11° 39’ 88.2” N 75° 45’ 14.4” E

Notification Year: 2013

The old Sub Registrar Office Building, situated on a hillock facing the Kuttiady River, is a colonial structure built during the British Period. This east-facing single-storey structure has only three rooms. The floors are paved with terracotta tiles. The architectural pattern of this building bears a close resemblance to the Sub-Registrar office building at Tirurangadi, another monument built by the British. There is a huge laterite well on the northeast side of this building.
