The base, walls, and roof of the srikovil are made out of dressed granite rock. The roof is set with big granite slabs. The chief deity, Mahavishnu, faces the east. The idol of Mahavishnu belonged to the 10th century C.E. The sub-shrines are Ganapathy, Sastha, Bhadrakali and Nagar. The Ganapathy is enshrined on the outer wall of the srikovil. The Dwarapalakas are made of granite and ghanadvaras are there on three sides of the walls.
