The heritage building owned by the Kerala State Handloom Development Corporation in Kannur Taluk of Kannur District was built during British rule. Kannur Collectorate was functioning in this building till 1957. Later in 1968, when Hanveev came into existence, the building was given to Hanveev by the government. The building facing east is built in Indo-European style. Its construction, with spacious rooms, has been done in symmetry.
