Village: Thrissur

Taluk: Thrissur

GPS Coordinates: 10° 31’ 51.5” N 76° 13’ 00.3” E

Of the two gateways, the eastern gateway is more impressive. It has been decorated with relief motifs. An umbrella, a conch, and a lamp are depicted at the top. The pilasters with Corinthian style capital are worth mentioning. The architectural styles of both the gateways of the Sakthan Thampuran Palace are highly influenced by the Colonial architectural tectonics.
