Lokanarkavu Bhagavathy Temple

Lokanarkavu Bhagavathy temple is famous for its association with the legendary heroes and heroines of the Vadakkanpattu or Northern Ballads. The chief deity of the temple is Durga. Two temples, each dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Siva, are also located in the vicinity of the temple. The square dwithalasrikovil has granite adhishtana. The walls of the srikovil are decorated with beautiful mural paintings. Apart from the murals, intricately carved wooden sculptures and reliefs are also present in this temple.
