Kadamattom Church (St. George Church, Kadamattom) is one of the oldest churches in Kerala. There is still some argument over the exact year of construction of the church. Kadamattom Chuch is known for its architectural beauty and heritage. Inside the church, there is a Persian cross with an ancient inscription. There is also the tomb of Mar Thoma IX (Pakalomattom lype Kathanar) on the left side, just outside the Madhbaha. The church's door lock is another major attraction and is engineered with an amazing and unique wood lock mechanism.
